Our story
A refractory company built on metallurgical first principles.
Varsha Refractories Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1996 to serve a simple need in Indian industry: reliable, application-specific refractory linings designed by people who understand the furnace as well as the brick. From our first contracts with regional steel and glass plants, we have grown into a full-range manufacturer supplying over fifteen heavy industries.
Our plant near Mumbai runs modern batching, high-tonnage pressing, tunnel kilns and a dedicated ceramic-fibre line. Every shipment is preceded by in-house physical and chemical testing — bulk density, cold crushing strength, PCE, permanent linear change, chemical composition — against specifications the customer can verify.
We remain a technically-led company. Promoters are on the shop floor, design discussions happen with the metallurgist before the sales engineer, and every lining that leaves the factory carries the formulation, firing record and test certificate of the batch it came from.
